A Very Long Walk

Evening in Santiago

Busy in the City

Another brief post. I am flying to Barcelona tomorrow to spend a bit of time in Llafranc. Will be back in Norfolk on 19th. I will sort out photos and finish my writing while there, when I have had more time to think.

It poured down in Santiago today, I had to buy an umbrella. I went to the pilgrims mass in the church of San Francisco, and this evening when the mass of tourists had gone, I visited the cathedral. It is a total building site, but in some way it did not matter. I left the shell from Morston, and the little wooden cross, which has been standing guard in the kitchen for the last 2 or 3 years, in the Cathedral. I will tell you where in another post. I lit candles in both the church of San Francisco and the cathedral.

I had a little retail therapy by going shopping in Zara, and had some wonderful food, which is neccessay, as the mirrors in Zara revealed that I am looking a  bit scrawny. Lots of cooking in the next few days.

The sun came out this evening. I will try to post the picture of the  sun on the cathedral.
