Four Weeks today I will set off for this very long walk. There are lots of things to sort out, lots of kit to buy, and lots of things to worry about (not least the use of the Oxford comma).

I hope to be able to talk about all sorts of things in the next few weeks, but the practical thing that most people ask about first is blisters. There will be lots about preventing them and dealing with them over the coming weeks I am sure. This is how my feet look now. We will see what state they are in come late October.
